At Kirkdale St Lawrence School we highly value Art and it's impact on our children's learning and enjoyment. We are lucky to have a dedicated, well resourced art room for our children's use.

Art is for our learning, wellbeing and pleasure .

As part of  Children's Mental Health and Well Being week each class had a group of children to work with Mrs Hetherington on a canvas to display our school's 5 values. We had great fun, used lots of our art skills, including colour mixing, collage, printing, pattern making and 3D art.

Our artwork is proudly displayed on our stairwells.
