Welcome to Archer Class.
We are very excited for a year of fun, learning and growth. I, Miss McNeill will be working with Miss Taylor (LSA), Stu (Military Mentor) and Miss Wilson (HLTA) to support you in having the best year in UKS2.
Below you will find everything you need to know, from weekly updates to homework!
Attendance
As a school, we are pushing to get above 97% attendance for ALL pupils. We love to see a full class of children ready to learn!
Key Information
P.E. -
Thursday is our PE day, please come in school PE kit and appropriate footwear.
Every Wednesday, Archer Class is swimming. Everyone needs to bring the proper equipment, including swimsuits, towels, and goggles. Please remember that bikinis are not allowed for girls, and boys should not wear long shorts—only proper swimwear is permitted. Let’s make sure we’re all ready and dressed appropriately for a fun and safe swimming session!
Reading should be completed each night. A book will be provided. Children will have the opportunity to swap their book on a Tuesday. Even if they have not completed the book they must bring it into school to be checked.
Spellings will be not be given out. However, if you wish to practice at home download the sheet at the bottom of the page.
English and Maths homework will be set each Friday and is expected to be completed by the following Wednesday. This will give children time to ask questions and also time for a few reminders!
Termly Chilli Challenges are sent out- please complete at least one each week! Challenge yourself to complete and extra spicy activity!
Please encourage your child to complete home learning as this supports work covered in class.
Our core value this term is:
Please ensure you are connected to Seasaw- to receive updated information, letters and brilliant work completed by your child.
